This site provides further information on the compounding of the product, dosage, and application information.

We currently only offer trandermal gels for hormones, as they are the cheapest, simplest, and safest to manufacture. However, we are looking into the possibility of compounding ester injections in the future for those who may want them.

We currently only distribute locally, using cash or XMR for payment.

Transdermal Gel

The main product right now, a transdermal gel for topical application of Estradiol.

The ingredients and preparation are per one 100mL bottle of gel for a concentration of 2mg/mL of E2 (Estradiol). Information was pieced together from guides on r/estrogel.

All the ingredients have been sourced from either cosmetic or food suppliers, ensuring purity and safety. The raw Estradiol powder has been obtained from a reputable source, and tested via melting point and solubility tests.

It should be stored in a cool dark environment, but not frozen, in order to preserve its useable life.

One bottle should last for approximately one month at a dosage of 4mg daily. Additionally, bottles can be returned and refilled. At a cost of around $2 per bottle (not including the cost of the bottle itself) the cost for one years supply of HRT is around $30 if the bottle is refilled each time.

Ingredients

• 120mg 50-28-2 17β-Estradiol - The active ingredient
• 65mL 95% Ethanol - Solvent and minor penetration enhancer
• 25mL Purified Water - Hydrates the carbomer
• 10mL D-Limonene - Penetration enhancer
• 1g Carbomer 940 - Thickener and gelling agent
• 1.35g Triethanolamine - Neutralizing agent

Compounding

1. Hands and equipment are washed with warm water and soap, then rinsed off with cool water.
2. Gloves are put on, and hands and equipment are cleansed with 70% IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol).
3. Ethanol and Estradiol are mixed together to form a solution.
4. Carbomer is slowly mixed into water, with optional food colouring.
5. The aqueous solution and ethanol solution are mixed together until smooth and even.
6. Triethanolamine is slowly added and mixed in order to thicken the final gel.
7. The gel is then put into an Airless Cosmetic Bottle, which is pumped to get the remaining air out.
8. Ingredients, source, date, and other notes are written down, and a number is given to the batch. This will be indicated on your bottle.

Dosage and Application

• The ideal application spot is the scrotum or armpit, as they have the best absorbtion due to skin thickness and capillary density.
• Each bottle dispenses roughly 0.25mg per pump, meaning that it takes around 4 pumps to get a dose of 1mg of Estradiol.
• To prevent hormone level spikes and maintain steady levels, appliation should be spread out throughout the day. An example may be 2 pumps in the morning and 2 in the evening, for a total of 4 pumps daily.
• Once the product has dried on your skin, you can spray on 60%-70% IPA to ensure it has been fully absorbed.

Injections

Oil suspensions of various hormone esters. A generally cheaper and more efficient form of taking HRT.

Injections are compounded under sterile conditions following the HRT Cat guide, this means that they are generally safer than most other available DIY sources.

Unfortunately, due to the vast amount of extra tools and labour required for compounding and ensuring safe injections, there is an additional labour cost added onto the cost of each vial, rather than just the cost of raw ingredients like in the Transdermal Gel. I value my work at around $25 per hour, which I believe is a reasonable rate for the work needed to ensure a safe and sterile product. Additionally, for each batch a $30 donation is given to HRT Cat and Trans Harm Reduction for the invaluable work they both do. Each vial contains 10mL of solution, the exact concentration of which is indicated on the label. All of the ingredients have been sourced from reputable suppliers. Each bottle should theoretically last for about a year of monotherapy useage, although the recommended use time is much less once punctured.

• 0.2mL Benzyl Alcohol - Preservative

Compounding

Exact steps for compounding are not listed here, as it is a complex and in-depth process. We follow all the general steps in the HRT Cat guide.

It is compounded in batches of 100mL, then seperated into individual 5mL vials, before being labelled.

All glassware and vials are depyrogenated and sterilized in an oven at 250°C, other items are sterilized using a pressure cooker. Compounding is done in a still air box within a makeshift positive-pressure cleanroom, all items are wiped down with 70% IPA prior to entering. Gloves, mask, hair, and shoe coverings are worn. Solution is filtered, and filters are subsequently bubble-tested to ensure they work. Hormone raws are similarly tested via melting point and solubility. They will be laboratory tested as well.
